Corda

Institutions don't trust DeFi. DeFi doesn't trust institutions. Corda needed a brand both sides believe.

R3 came to us with Corda.xyz at an early stage, a landing page and dApp sharing a rough first-pass visual system. Corda lets onchain investors put real-world assets to work across DeFi, but its audience spans crypto-native users, TradFi institutions, and real-world asset issuers, each still needing its own proof. Here’s how we approached the brief.

Starting the brand completely over would've cost Corda the one thing it had already earned: real trust.

We built the work around three connected pieces: brand evolution, the website, and the dApp, all sharing one design system instead of three separate ones. We kept the gradient system Corda was known for, brought in new typography, and stayed clear of anything too Solana-native, so the brand could sit comfortably in DeFi and TradFi rooms alike. The site was built in Webflow, so R3's own team could edit it without needing a developer.

Everything shipped in two phases: foundational architecture first, then the full site and dApp redesign, tied together by one shared component library so it stays consistent.
